Chapter 10 - What is the future for mankind in terms of advancing its spirituality?The sky is the limit! There has never existed a greater opportunity for mankind to assert its right for dominion, than exists now. We are at the threshold of a historic opportunity for mankind to liberate itself from the processes that have defaced its image, undermined its existence, bound it mentally into a tight confinement more impregnable than any prison house. The opportunity that mankind has at this hour is greater than any opportunity it had in history. The systems are falling apart that have devastated mankind for ages. At the same time great infrastructures for spiritual development have been brought to light and have been implemented in many respects. This heightens the chance to realize the potential at hand. Except the opportunity must be met with a strong spiritual resolve, or else it, too, will become lost like many bright opportunities in the past have become lost, when in such cases the great moments met a small people, as Schiller had put it. In the scientific context, small means that a person is self-confined into a sphere of conflicts that either are not recognized, or if recognized, are not confronted. If the opportunity that mankind has at hand at this moment, to free itself from oligarchic confinement, is lost, the ensuing tragedy is beyond contemplation, nor would anything productive be achieved by visualizing it. What needs to be visualized instead, and realized indeed, is the kind of deep reaching agitation that terminates the prevailing insanity which tolerates lies at its very core of thinking with which it endangers civilization today. The real target that a society's leadership, or self-leadership, must address itself to, that it must destroy as surely as Ludwig von Wolzogen new that Napoleon had to be destroyed for any nation to be save in Europe, is not the might of the presently ruling empire; or the craftiness of its oligarchy; or even the brutality of its fascism. Not a single advanced leader who ever walked the earth succeeded at such an attempt. The target in every successful campaign has always been to raise the conscience of humanity; to agitate the hell out of it; to confront its errors, its false believes, its defective axioms, and its apathy. When all this is achieved, everything else that is needed for victory falls into place. The goal in liberating humanity must be to annihilate the homogenous insanity that keeps the bulk of humanity tied to the ground and confined to self-destruction. || - page index - || - chapter index - || - Exit - ||
