Chapter 5 - The Power of Lies.How 'information' can effect the society is vividly illustrated by the 1997 scandal in the gold mining industry. When information was released that a Canadian mining company had discovered the richest gold deposits in the world on its properties in Indonesia, the value of its shares grew by leaps and bounds. When it became revealed later on that the information was false, the share value dropped to near zero, and then, recovered a bit. On the strength of this information billions of dollars were made and lost, and the lives of numerous people were irrevocably altered. While the false information in the above case was probably not created intentionally for the purpose to cause injury, the power of lies has been employed on countless occasion in diplomacy for achieving destructive purposes. King Edward VII of the British Empire, the true architect of World War I, was an able diplomat in this respect who exploited the destructive effect of this process to the utmost in order to protect the Empire from the economic threat that the planned transportation land-bridge across Asia would create, that was to set up the world's largest economic development block, extending from Paris to Japan, including all of Asia in due course. Carefully crafted lies, intertwined with hyped up nationalism had sufficed to turn the potential development partners at each other's throat. Lies are possibly the most destructive weapons ever devised, and the most indefensible, as they cause the victim to engage in voluntary self-destruction. They are employed economically, politically, and financially. In the financial realm, at the present moment, the illusion is spread across the world that stockmarket investment through mutual funds is a sure way to riches, even though the physical industry that this market represents is collapsing through disinvestment and politically motivated deindustrialization. The illusion that this market builds wealth has been created by the cleverly spread lies from which the architects of the game profit immensely. The illusion is so eagerly accepted that it is causing the society to throw all its savings and its liquid equity, even some borrowed money, into the sink hole from which it cannot be reclaimed. The modern financial market that exists by these lies, is without doubt the most monumental pyramid scheme ever invented, with a near unimaginable potential for injury. Another set of lies, vastly more destructive than these, are those that are hidden under the cover of science. There are quite a number of them by now. Some of them are murdering millions of people every year, like those that caused the ban of DDT which had once nearly eradicated malaria around the world, that is back, and had effectively protected crops, which is no longer possible to the same degree. The potentially most destructive of the scientific lies, however, is the one centered on the Global Warming scare that has been created as a weapon against mankind's fossil fuel energy use on which modern life depends. Nothing can replace fossil fuel energy in the world, for as long as nuclear energy development is actively impeded. Wind mills can't do it, nor can solar cells or bio-fuels that require more energy to produce than they give back. Nor can hydro power be developed into a significant energy source. Most existing potentials have already been developed. There is little more left in the wings. Therefore, with nuclear power development being actively impeded, the fossil fuel remain as the only energy resource mankind has. The entire world is powered by it. If one considers the enormously destructive effect that a significant shut down of fossil fuel energy use is bound to have on the world population, it should not be surprising that one finds the originators of the Global Warming mythology to be the same imperial elite circles who also demand a massive world-population reduction. For decades upon decades the Empire has demanded a massive world-population reduction, that would, if it were implemented, create a more ideal environment for the feudalist system. But until recently, its bidding has been largely ignored. Now it is being wholly embraced. The project is now pursued under the cover of a lie. The lie is called Global Warming, that is being associated with a great scare of the polar ice caps melting and flooding low lying lands. Under this lie that few people have the resources to disprove a war is waged against fossil fuel energy use, while at the same time nuclear power development remains prevented. Thus, the real evident goal is to shut down, or dramatically curtail, mankind's energy production on which modern existence absolutely depends. The current 5.5 billion person world population simply cannot maintain itself in an energy lean environment. Take away the energy use that supports this population - that is needed to produce its food, power its transportation systems, drive its industries, heat its homes, cook its food, etc., and mankind will necessarily die back dramatically to a smaller population existing on a much more primitive platform.
