Today, mankind stands at the crossroads once again. On one hand mankind faces a new round of unfolding insanity in the financial realm in the form of an out-of-control world-financial system that is itself near the edge of collapsing, together with political processes that have simultaneously collapsed literally all economies in the world to the point that people are dying from the effects of physical underdevelopment and related causes of biological weakening throughout the populations. The current annual death toll from this hovers near the 100 million mark. Against this background of physical weakening in the populations the age old killer diseases that were once deemed to have been eradicated, are making a come-back.
In the background to this silent dying, cries are coming out of the developed world, lamenting that the world is severely overpopulated and that mankind must shed 60% to 90% of its population in two generations. While these are extreme positions held by some of the most powerful people on the planet, they do indicate the reemergence of the type of insanity that devastated the 13th through to the 15th century in Europe and China.
In contrast to this fast unfolding potential for collapse, mankind has a near infinite potential for a bright future, with limitless resources in energy, minerals, food, water - anything the human world desires. As for its potential in food production, mankind has not even begun to start developing anything but the crudest of the available potentials. Vast portions of the earth remain a barren waste-land, even today, while the potential of the sea remains virtually unutilized, with space-based food production not even being considered. With all this enormous potential at hand, what justification does mankind have for its commitment to a course that embraces the insane desire for a global suicide of unspeakable proportion for the perceived lack of opportunities?
A deep mental collapse.
The unfolding paradox points to a deep collapse in metaphysical capability, which points to a mental collapse. While the global population reduction programs, as they are called, are still very much on the agenda in the highest places, in terms of policy options, the actual collapse may be induced, not so much by policy, but by the dramatic decline in the metaphysical realm that traditionally manifests itself in the creating and maintaining of evermore advancing support systems for living. Mankind has stopped this advance and reversed it on a global scale. The insanity that drives this reversal is found interwoven into various ideologies that have infested the axioms that govern the financial and economic systems, as well as the social and moral culture of modern society.
This ideologically organized regression is the leading driver towards what may become the greatest financial and economic crash in history, coupled with the kind of collapse in population levels that is historically associated with these types of metaphysical reversals. The exception is, that at the present stage, the process of collapse will most likely be amplified by the dynamic multipliers that are associated with today's economic-systems collapse, such as a possible oil embargo, a possible war in the Middle East, an impending biological holocaust in conjunction with a progressing elimination of the nations' health support structures for budgetary reasons. The combined effect of all these causes being brought together during a financial crash may be sufficient to take the house down over humanity, even beyond the point of any possible recovery.
A little of the currently ongoing process of collapse is already beginning to be felt by the unfortunate segments of society that have lost incomes from employment, and are about to loose their final line of physical support as governments all over the world are driven into 'tough' budget cutting modes.
The process that is causing all this damage has been started long ago. It is interlinked with the processes that are behind the financial-system's crash. When the crash occurs, it will be but an escalated phase of what is already in progress.
