Strangely, not a single one of the factors that are threatening the global economy today, are natural occurrences.  Every one of them is man-made.  Some factors appear even intentionally engineered for ideological reasons.  They all have one aspect in common, however, they are deadly in their consequences.  In a very real way, humanity is facing the most powerfully engineered onslaught against itself that has ever been staged against human existence throughout history.

Of all the factors coming together, the financial and economic factor is obviously the most important one.  The reason is, that in a healthy financial and economic environment none of the other factors matter significantly, as they can be dealt with and overcome.  Unfortunately, such an environment no longer exists.  What exists instead is an environment of irrational perception in an arena of a global crisis that has the potential to disintegrate the entire world-financial system, not just the stock and bond markets as many financial newsletter writers predict, but the banking system as well, together with everything that is linked into it.  This may appear like a formula for utter catastrophe.

If you feel a bit uneasy, or scared, you are beginning to see the picture.

Fortunately, there are alternatives to allowing a crisis to explode.  These are self-evident alternatives that have been tested in real life and have proven their worth.  For those, however, one needs to dig a little deeper.  In fact, in order to recognize their value, one needs to understand both the nature of the 'disease' and of the 'cure.'  To some people, what comes to light as one digs deeper, may be distasteful.  Indeed, the sugar coated lollipops appear sweeter, that most financial analysts put out as an enticement to gain subscriptions for their letters, though the sweetness will certainly cost many a person dearly, if not the person's life.

Unfortunately, it also costs society.  We all live in this environment together in which financial speculation rules the day.  We share the same world.  No one can escape this fact.  But it is also possible to re-shape the world from the ground up.  This possibility exists in spite of what everyone insists upon to the contrary.

Not surprisingly, the process of digging for answers is actually interesting.  It is certainly far less boring than to read the newspapers' financial analysis.  In the papers, the central theme never varies in its unrelatedness to the realities of daily life and the struggles of people at the grass roots levels where the majority of human beings earn their living.  The most interesting aspects always lie in the real world and are usually quite surprising.
