Preface ii - Infinite Development or Impending Crisis.

The centuries of dark ages that unfolded out of the imperial policies of Rome, which be repeated, foreshadow immensely dark ages on today's horizon.  Today's prevailing policies are actually worse than those of Rome, so that the Rome generated dark ages may be light by comparison.  In this sense, Roman history presents an awesome foreboding.  The devastation and regression that the Roman Empire had unleashed in its time, that had turned the lights out for mankind for centuries, from which mankind may not have truly recovered, may yet pail into insignificance in comparison to the current potential for a death spiral that the Empire's global financial and economic disintegration may unleash.

The nature of the disintegration.

The presently impending financial disintegration, apparently, is not intended by the Empire.  The looting world-financial system is its 'main sail.'  It is its power.  It supports its existence.  Nevertheless, it is doomed, and the transworld Empire knows this.

Since 1994 the Empire has been in a mode of restructuring its base of wealth from paper into physical equity, such as hoarding rare metals, strategic minerals, food, etc..  Then it went on a global binge of buying up all the essential industries around the world by forcing their privatization.  Right now it is engaged in buying up the world's prime mineral deposits and energy resources.  It has also achieved near total control over the world's food distribution through its cartel system.  Hardly a scrap of food moves on the planet that the Empire's cartels have not a hand in transporting.  And most importantly, it has created the political and legal structures by which the looting of humanity is being protected.

The transformation of the Empire out of financial assets into 'hard' assets appears to be nearly complete.  Nor is there much left in the world that the Empire considers worth buying.  In the mean time its financial and economic system is being kept alive by all means possible, though it is hopelessly bankrupt as it has bankrupted the world.  It will likely be kept alive until the Empire's restructuring of its wealth is complete.  Then, it will most certainly be allowed to disintegrate, since it, too, has been looted to the bone at this point.  The world is very close to this stage right now.

When, finally, the world-financial system disintegrates in a chain of irrepairable failures, the event, however, opens up an opportunity for mankind for some corrective reactions.  One of these reaction may be to restructure the world onto a platform that reflects the model for infinite economy.  The Empire's goal, of course, will be to revamp the old feudal platform of parasitic monetarism, into some new form which continues to destroy humanity that the Empire feeds on.  This has traditionally happened throughout history.

One way or another, unless mankind grasps the present opportunity to reverse course, the implementation of the Empire's coveted population reduction will occur.  The implementation won't take a great deal of effort.  Numerous environmental organizations, with well established terrorist factions, stand ready and eager to help fulfill this goal.  This terrible goal has been fully adapted, in principle, by most environmental organizations, who see it as their own goal.  The murderous environmental  myths, that have been carefully implanted in the minds of the global society, centered on the notion that the planet is vastly overpopulated, will aid the murdering.  What all this means, is, that when the big environmental movements are drawn into the terrible game of active population reduction, the public will likely stand idly by and support the process.

The strength of the public's own antipopulation commitment is well demonstrated by its support for the global ban of DDT and CFC, which had once elevated and protected human life.  These creations of the human genius have been banned without any real evidence that they have caused the slightest harm to the environment, or people.  All this has already been admitted.  In other words, these substances have been banned for their dramatic effect in saving human lives.  This, too, has been admitted by some of the more honest members of the scientific community.
