This small incidence proves to some degree that the fascism of greed is not an element of human nature, but has been artificially induced, and been taught and nurtured in order to justify certain objectives. Since these objectives are contrary to the natural principles of economics, just as stealing is contrary to the principles of civilization, we find that these unprincipled objectives have wrecked the economic processes around the world and are now threatening to collapse civilization. The healing therefore has to reach down to the underlying strata in society's self-perception as human beings. Fortunately, since the fascism of greed is an artificially created phenomenon, it can be healed by reverting back to the principles of our humanity such as the Principle of Universal Love.
